Purpose of Tarot Sessions

Tarot readings are offered for spiritual insight and personal reflection. They are not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, psychological, etc.) and should be considered entertainment in jurisdictions where required by law.

Limitation of Liability

I take no responsibility for any decision clients might make in their lives and I accept no liability for the results of their decisions. No matter what cards come up or how I interpret them, clients remain 100% responsible for their own actions, decisions and outcomes.

Confidentiality

Everything we talk about during a session is confidential and will not be shared without your consent. However, please understand that there may be circumstances in which I may be compelled to divulge information about the contents of the session. Tarot readers are not legally recognized as having a privileged relationship with clients (like, for example, lawyers or psychologists) and may be required to divulge information under threat of legal penalty.

Number of Attendees

In-person sessions may be attended by up to four clients total. All attendees may ask questions if desired and if time permits. There is no limit to the number of persons who may be present in the room with clients during video sessions. I reserve the right to limit the number of devices that can connect for online sessions, as well as the total number of attendees.

Records and Information

Video sessions may be recorded by me and will be made available to clients for a limited time after the session. In-person sessions are not recorded by me.

I may take photographs of the spreads I do, and these photos will be saved on my devices along with the questions the spread was pulled to answer. I do not include clients’ full names in the notes.

Clients may record audio or video during the session. Such recordings may be used for personal reference only. No recording of me or my voice, nor any photograph taken during the session may be published, posted, sent or shared in any manner without my direct and explicit consent, which must be obtained in advance.

Appropriateness of Inquiries

I reserve the right to decline to pull cards on clients’ questions at my own discretion. Clients seek insight into the feelings or actions of others and I will do my best to answer such questions. I will not assist with anything I deem unethical or illegal, such as planning a crime or engaging in actions that intentionally harm others.

Pace of Tarot Reading Sessions

I work in accordance with certain traditions and rituals that help me tune in and maintain a respectful connection with the cards. I appreciate your patience as I take the time to shuffle, reflect, meditate, and focus the energy of the session.

Bookings and Payment

I reserve the right to terminate sessions, abruptly if necessary,  once the duration reaches the scheduled limit. If you would like to extend your session, a new session must be initiated, and an additional payment is required. It is possible to back-to-back sessions if you feel you need the time

In-Person Sessions

Only one client or client group is permitted in my reading space at any time. It may be necessary for clients to wait in the parking lot or outside the door of the unit before their session begins. The parking-lot is covered and protected from the sun and rain, as is the landing outside the unit. 

Cancellations & Refunds

Appointments are generally not refundable. However, they can be rescheduled. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance (48 hours on the app). Rescheduled sessions will be arranged at mutual convenience. Rescheduling of video sessions with less than 48 hours’ notice may be possible but is not guaranteed. Clients must contact me directly in this case (48 hours rescheduling notice is required on the booking app). No refunds will be issued for missed appointments or late cancellations. If a client attempts to reschedule according to the terms and conditions, but a suitable new time cannot be found even with the sincere best efforts of all parties, a refund will be issued. 

Payment Methods

Currently payment is accepted via PayPal for video sessions. I reserve the right to demand payment in advance for all services. In-person clients might be able to pay cash at the beginning of the session. Cash sessions cannot be booked on the scheduling app. Please contact me directly via the Contact page on the website.

Code of Conduct

Clients are expected to treat sessions and all participants with respect. I reserve the right to end a session without refund in cases of abusive, harassing, or disruptive behavior.

Selectivity about Clients

I reserve the right to decide who I read cards for and who I do not. I do not do readings for ‘skeptics’ or persons who I feel are not well-aligned with the spiritual and personal nature of tarot reading and will end a session without refund if I sense significant non-alignment from a client.
